Shaping a Future of Innovation and Environmental Stewardship
In Marion County and at Re:Source, the future of waste management is bright. By embracing the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle, we're helping to create a world where landfills are minimized and the negative impact of waste is significantly reduced.

Advanced Technologies
As the industry and the needs of our community evolve, we’re quick to adapt. From advanced sorting systems to compactors that allow more waste to be transported in fewer trips, we’re implementing modern solutions that are paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable environment.
- Our consolidated truckloads save 1,150 highway trips and 20,000 gallons of fuel each year.
- 2025 projections show us accepting over 400,000 tons of waste, with 75,000 tons, or nearly 20%, diverted away from landfills.

Community-Driven Initiatives
Through collaborative efforts between local businesses, municipalities, and devoted Marion County residents, we’re supporting education and events centered around waste reduction, reuse, and more actions that foster sustainable practices throughout our community.

Local Waste Partnerships
Our partnership with the Mid-Valley Garbage and Recycling Association allows us to minimize the distances curbside collection vehicles must drive, reducing each load’s carbon footprint. Together we’re furthering a shift towards a circular economy where local waste is responsibly handled, managed, and recycled.

Educating and Inspiring the Next Generation
Through our education and training room, we’re empowering our youth to make informed choices about consumption and waste disposal, fostering a culture of sustainability that benefits both present and future generations.
