For over 25 years, we’ve been committed to effectively and sustainably managing Marion County’s waste. Along the way, we’ve grown with our community’s needs, building a facility and a system that can provide solutions for many decades to come, from processing all transfer station and curbside-collected waste to recovering valuable materials from construction and demolition (C&D) debris.

Getting Waste to Its Best Destination

Our emphasis on material recovery means that more of what is thrown away in Marion County is being repurposed. With modern tools that speed up the work of separating wood, rock, metal, and cardboard from mixed transfer station and C&D debris, we’re able to save over 20% of the waste we process, reducing our reliance on area landfills and decreasing waste’s impact on our environment.

Looking to the Future

Through material recovery, load consolidation, efficient transport, and education, Re:Source makes sure Marion County’s waste is handled in a way that not only protects the health of our cities and planet, but also returns valuable resources to our community. And while we’re managing today’s needs, we’re also thinking ahead to develop sustainable solutions for the future, so we’ll be ready to meet any challenge and you can feel good about where your waste ends up.
