Local Haulers

Supporting our neighborhoods, together.

At Re:Source, we’re helping local haulers get our community’s waste from the curb to its best destination in a way that benefits them, our neighbors, and our environment.

Providing a Better Route

We reduce haulers’ costs and travel time by providing a local facility where all waste — from garbage and recycling to organics and C&D drop boxes — can be delivered for sorting and material recovery.

Building a Responsible Waste Management System

Together, we’re ensuring Marion County’s waste is sustainably managed and processed, shaping a future where waste is not an ongoing burden but an opportunity for innovation and environmental stewardship.

Protecting the Future of Our Communities

Because we’re able to reclaim more materials from haulers’ waste, less is taken to the landfill. This helps reduce emissions and conserve our land and natural resources for the next generation.

A Legacy of Local Care and Collaboration

Re:Source was created in 1999 as a partnership between all eight of Marion County’s franchised hauling companies. Some of those companies have been serving our region for decades, founded by local families who saw a need and worked to fill it.

We’re dedicated to continuing this legacy through responsible waste management that doesn’t just benefit individual businesses, but all the people in our community — and that can meet Marion County’s waste needs for decades to come.

Transportation

We’re ensuring waste is directed to its best next destination more efficiently, with special compacting equipment that reduces semi-truck loads.
